LE POULDU . The local village has a charming port on the estuary of the River Laita and is a good starting point for sea fishing trips as well as offering a superb haven for a variety of small boats. The resort has three beaches providing safe swimming, sand and a few rock pools. Easy parking near the beaches are a priority in Brittany and they are free!

QUIMPERLE. This quaint, small town is just 10KM from the site. It is situated at the junction of two rivers and has picturesque old streets, museums as well as the usual shops.

The walks around this area are a pleasure. Either on the quiet country lanes or in the nearby forests of Toufloen. A coastal footpath provides some panoramic views.
There are many supermarkets, restaurants and bars in the nearby small towns and villages as well as weekly markets. The huge town of Lorient is only 30 minutes drive away.
